PNASA President 2018-2020

There are no words to describe the pride and joy I have about our organization. The 17th PNAA South Central Region Conference held at The Menger Hotel in San Antonio, TX has proven that Team PNASA is strong. I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for your support! So many new friends, colleagues, and partnerships have formed in one weekend. Together, we are formidable. Thank you all!! To nurses who wish to take an active role in PNASA, we welcome you!

My Story ...

Lailani Divina BSN, RN

Lailani Ociones-Divina,  a BSN graduate  of University of Santo Tomas is currently pursuing her MSN from Norwich University.  She is an OR Clinical and Operations Supervisor from Baptist Medical Center. She has been a nurse for 28 years with 14 years experience in the perioperative setting from the Philippines,  Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the US.

As a nurse leader, Lailani is inspired by Benjamin Franklin's quote, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn."  She is looking forward to making a difference in our nursing community through PNASA!

PASSION: The Secret Ingredient         of a Fulfilled Life as a Nurse                 by Aura Casabar, BSN, RN, CCM

Several years ago, I caught myself watching reruns of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, a reality cooking show of a very animated, award-winning chef who went around Great Britain, France, and the US  attempting to salvage restaurants from the brink of bankruptcy or closure.
